Lift Shaft Scaffold Tower Assembly Overview
Follow these basic steps for assembling your lift shaft scaffold tower. Note, this is a general overview and is not a replacement for the full instruction manual. Please refer to the official user guide for complete assembly and safety instructions.
Lay out all parts on a flat, stable surface and check that everything is present before starting. Make sure the user guide is available to anyone involved in the assembly.
Set up the base in the intended working area, ensuring there is enough space for safe assembly and use. The compact design makes the tower suitable for lift shafts and other confined spaces.
Fit the platforms at the required working height and make sure they are properly secured before use. Never use a platform unless it is fully locked in place.
The tower includes 250mm-spaced easy-climb integral ladders with ribbed rung tubing for grip. Check that ladder access is secure and clear before climbing.
Before use, make sure the tower is level, stable, and fully assembled. Inspect all parts and fixings to confirm that everything is secure.
Lift shaft towers are handy tools. But they’re also dangerous if not handled with care. Lift shaft towers are required to be inspected by competent PASMA trained professionals when erecting, dismantling, altering or modifying them.
