Lakeside Deliveries was established in 1992 providing a same-day delivery service and soon became established as a company you could rely on to get your urgent consignments into London that day.
Lakeside-Hire was a side line to Lakeside Deliveries, a way to provide added value to our customers. It soon became apparent that more people wanted to work with Lakeside-Hire and in 2009 we ceased the same-day business and focused on becoming specialists in hiring access equipment.
Although no longer in the same-day transport business it is our experience in this field that is the basis of our unique delivery service in the hire industry. We know how important it is for our customers to get what they want when they want it and this is the basis for our service and guarantee.
We are members of PASMA and the Hire Association of Europe. As well as continually striving to accreditation in recognition of our high standards.

All products are minimum charge period of one week but we can collect sooner.
Your charge period is for a full seven days and not five as is the industry standard. This means you get more value for your money. If you receive the equipment on a Monday, you will have it until the following Monday.
After the initial seven days a daily hire rate applies which is simply the weekly rate divided by seven!
We supply the same great trade rates to all our customers. You can be confident that no one else is getting the same high standard of service from Lakeside-Hire at a cheaper rate than you!
Quality of Equipment
When our equipment comes back it is always safety checked by our PASMA trained operatives. When it passes the safety checks it is power washed, cleaned up and put through a routine maintenance before going back into circulation.
As it is picked for your order the equipment is then checked again before being loaded on the vans and sent to you so you can be confident it will be ready to work when you are.
Your Hire Co-ordinator
Your order will always be dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner by a Hire Co-ordinator.
All of our Hire Co-ordinators have been PASMA trained, so you can be confident that the advice they provide is safe and useful.
What You Need To Know
We accept all major credit and debit cards with no extra charges passed onto you.
You only pay for the hire and delivery services you want to book.
We will call you after your scheduled delivery time to ensure equipment has been recieved and you are happy. At this point you can tell us if you require any additional items for your project.
We will call you the day before your hire ends to check if you need to keep the equipment longer. If so, you can simply pay for the additional time or, if you’re finished, we will arrange the collection for you.
We can supply powered access without the need for a monthly credit account with us, ask your Hire Co-ordinator for a powered access application form.
