Cantilever Scaffold Tower Hire

Need the right equipment to help you work at height? Then look no further than the state-of-the-art Youngman Boss Aluminium Scaffold Tower hire.

Designed using the latest technology, the Boss Aluminium Scaffold Tower offers a whole range of safety features giving you peace of mind while you are hard at work.

Installing your scaffold tower is simple for both beginners and professionals
  • PASMA certified hire
co-ordinators available to call for help
  • Colour-coded components and instructions
  • Only 30 to 60 minute set up time span for first-time users

The platforms can carry a safe working load of 275kg and up to 950kg per tower giving you plenty of room for your equipment and operating the ‘through the trapdoor’ access means you will never be left unguarded.

Other safety features include an integral ladder system, ribbed tubing for increased grip and deck board edge protection. This equipment even has double-action trigger operated locking claws and self-cleaning adjustable legs.

The Boss Aluminium Access Tower is compact, easy to use and even more simple to assemble – you will get the job done twice as efficiently.

What size scaffold tower do I need?

Access towers are so adaptable; there are many different sizes to choose, but you can have any size tower to suit the project you’re carrying out.

We measure all our sizes to the platform, where your feet will be. Therefore, the average person has a reach of around 2m. If for example, you needed to reach 5m, a 3.2m platform height tower would be suitable in this case.

If you’re looking to hire an access tower, you need to know the price per metre. Here is a handy price guide on our range of scaffold tower sizes available to hire.

Q. How long do I have to hire for to get free delivery?
A. We offer free delivery for customers hiring for over three weeks. If your hire period is less than three weeks, you still qualify for our trade rates above, but we do charge our transport costs. The charge is generally £18 each way anywhere in the UK Including VAT

Q. Do you have to be qualified to erect a scaffold tower?
A. No, you do not need to be qualified to erect an access tower, however, some construction sites require PASMA training to build one.

A. Use a stairwell tower from a trustworthy brand. This work should not be carried our with a ladder or make shift setup. Use a stair scaffold to ensure you don’t fall from height.

Are you having trouble reaching your roof’s slope? Maybe you have a ladder as a backup, but you feel unsafe working 8 meters off the ground.

That’s where a Cantilever tower comes in. If you aren’t sure whether to try one, we’ll share with you how it can solve your fear of working at heights and have a safe platform.

What Is a Cantilever Scaffold Tower?

In a nutshell, a Cantilever tower is an extra platform ideal for accessing hard to reach areas or places.

Is it safe to use? Well, we wouldn’t be telling you to use a cantilever section if it was unsafe.

Sure, there’s always a ladder system and other products that could help. However, cantilever sections have something that others don’t: height advantage.

A cantilever section isn’t like a one-person or GRP/fibreglass tower. Cantilever sections are ideal for accessing outhouses, sloped roofs, porches, bridges, towers, and balconies.

How do you know it’s the right choice for you? Let’s head to the next section.

Do I Need a Cantilever Scaffold Tower Hire?

The biggest concern is safety. Wouldn’t you feel more comfortable working at a safe platform height rather than an unstable surface?

Cantilever sections do just that by giving you extended access with higher safety and security on your part.

If you work in areas with sloped roofs [R], you need cantilever sections hire. If you perform repairs or maintenance in bridges, towers, tall buildings, and balconies, you need a cantilever sections hire.

It’s not about better productivity. It’s about achieving a safe working load and giving you and your employees peace of mind when working in places that carry risk and danger. If you haven’t got a ground based obstacle to get over use a scaffold from our tower hire range

Benefits of a Cantilever Tower

Still not sure whether cantilever sections hire is for you? Perhaps its benefits might convince you.

Easy Access for Hard to Reach Places

Even with full handrail and rail guard equipment, trying to reach around large objects around sloped roofs, bridges, and outhouses can be a challenge.

Scaffold towers can only go so far before you enter a higher risk zone. [R]

That’s why cantilever sections play a vital role by acting as an extension for scaffold towers to make it easier when you encounter obstacles working at height.

Most of all, these aren’t your standard piece of equipment.

These products help you worry less about any slips and falls or prevent accidents from occurring because one employee chose to risk a few meters of height distance.

Easy to Store & Transport

Cantilevers have a maximum height of 8.2 m. Now that might sound like it’s difficult to access equipment, let alone, carry around or store in your workshop.

It’s the opposite. Its lightweight build is far from a hassle if you decide to use it on more than one site in a day.

The best part? Assembling one takes only 2 minutes. That alone should tell you it’s not the bulky piece of equipment you’d expect it to be.

Affordable Add-On Option

Scaffold towers don’t come cheap. It would be impractical to purchase more if you only need a few more inches or meters of height to perform repairs.

Cantilever equipment shines here; they fit your budget and provide more than enough stability to handle more challenging jobs.

FAQs

Do I Need to Hire Additional Equipment or Tools With a Cantilever Sections Hire?

You don’t need to hire additional equipment or tools. In fact, upon placing your hire order, the hire rate will also include the following:

  • Braces
  • Decks
  • Toeboards
  • Horizontal braces

Other components that come along with the hire rate also include:

  • Swivel couplers
  • Cantilever frame
  • Infill decks

If you plan to carry additional tools or equipment, you can opt for a hoist [R] or pulley rather than hire more and rack up on costs. Alternatively, for smaller tools, you can opt for a tool belt.

What Are the Available Locations for a Cantilever Sections Hire?

Cantilevers are only available around M25. Furthermore, you can also use this equipment with standard or double-width towers only.

Double-width towers range from 1.8 m to 2.5 m in size, so if you have a narrow or single-width tower, make sure to verify this first before purchasing the equipment you need.
